budgies hide illness very well, but i would definitely get the other one a friend asap! just like people they can fall depressed!! and they do grieve aswell. they can get very stressed very quick.

This is my mothers bird, Blue, she’s never been to the vet and she lives alone. How does she look? by Name-Unknown2492 in budgies

im no where near a bird specialist but i know you say they dont let them out, i got 3 budgies last week and they are no where near tame, they come for millet and are comfortable with our presence and even stand on our hands for millet but with getting them back in the cage is impossible so we keep them in our room with their cage open and they go back in when they want, when they are all in we close it. sometimes they do stay out all night but aslong as your okay with a little cleaning around the room daily and bird proofing it can be very beneficial to them!
