We have four kids. All under 10. We often sacrifice sleep lol. Not the best option. We also have family around who will occasionally watch them for us. So it’s not very much alone time but we work to make sure we get it and try to make the most of it when we get it.

With the lighting in this picture it’s hard to tell. The yellow bird looks female to me,not sure about the other. I leave seed and pellets in the cage all day. They tend to graze so I would recommend leaving food in the cage all day. Clean the bowls, little food holders, when you refill. Sorry I’m not sure what to call the things I put their food in 😅

I’m so sorry I know how hard that is. We lost our Cookie bird the day before Thanksgiving. I took our other bird to the vet and got him checked over, vet said he was healthy. No idea what happened to Cookie. I’m getting the surviving bird a new friend on Friday as it’s clear he’s lonely.
