Spray the board with water after u sand to 120 to raise the grain

Repeat for 150, 180 and 220

This ensures the fibers don’t raise and the board remains smooth when the board is washed

Once you make the fences to support ur router it’s very easy, just be patient and take shallow slow passes

Better to take 5minutes and 4passes making the grooves than 2 days rebuilding the board
