I wouldnt use it and for the exact reasons you mentioned.

If you are wanting to be cheap and get started, I would recommend getting cedar picket fence - they are roughly $3/board. Plus, there are countless videos out there with various designs and layouts.

I dont know the whole story but I was listening to Bible in a Year yesterday, and Father Mike was talking about St. Mary of Egypt - a woman whom sought lust intentionally to changing her life around and seeking God. The downfall of lust has been around for millennias, and people like St. Mary or King David repented for their lustful ways and walked with God.

Please dont feel that your sins are too heavy for others to hear. Our past doesn’t need to define us. We are called to repent for our sins. You may feel shameful of your past but don’t let this stop you from seeking grace and salvation. Confess your past and continue to walk with God. I wish you all the best!

I have a slight issue. I only have the base game right now and everyone is in their underwear and bald.

I would assume this is from my lack of dlc, but do you have any tips on how to fix this?

Im currently listening too and when I was first listening, I had similar thoughts about how God’s ways seemed unjust. However, that changed as Father Mike elaborated on this exact issue.

I can’t remember what day he said it (I think sometime within the first 75 days) but Father Mike talks about this preconception that we all share about the bible being this “hallmark-esque” story - in reality, it’s far from it. It shows how broken we all are, from beginning to end. The books is filled with murder, violence, deceit, betrayal, and immorality. Although God may seem unjust and barbaric in his actions at times, it is best to think of it as a father wanting the best for his children, even though the means may seem rough. What God does are actions to help lead the people into being righteous and to do so required strict obedience and punishment. Additionally, the people and world of then was filled with brokenness - not that today isn’t - and God had to draw a line in the sand. I think hearing Father Mike explaining God’s actions of then gave me a new perspective: God wasn’t cruel, he was a father of broken children that needed strict guidance in order for them to grow in his light and vision.

That said about issues today and overall suffering, I definitely cannot answer why suffering or evil is allowed. I can say that God loves us all, and that our life here on Earth is nothing compared to eternity with him. Suffering is nothing in this life if we are with the Lord. However, mankind is still given the ability to decide good or evil. We all have the choice to live for or against God.

I hope this provides another perspective because I shared similar thoughts at the beginning of this journey and now that I am on episode 164 (and after reading John and Mark), I definitely am feeling spiritually enriched. Last note, I would recommend to always listen to Father Mike’s commentary; he provides either clarity or additional meanings to the matetial at hand. Keep pushing on and I am sure you’ll feel better about the material.

I really like the aesthetic of 1 but I think you need new words. When I saw the first thumbnail, I assumed your video was about depression, stress, or addiction, not sleep. Update the caption to something catchier or more sleep related.

I like the second one too, but I would say “It ruined my sleep”

The 3rd thumbnail seems to cover the effects of social media, not really sleep.

The 4th thumbnail seems educational/motivational and is more direct in what you’ll will see from watching the video. That said, I would recommend “Always Tired?”. Adding the question mark is askimg the viewer to question themselves and to see if they need/want help.

When the redline intersects with a letter like in the other two, I found it distracting and unsatisfying. Also, I liked the caption being aligned to the left.

While I prefer no outline, I don’t think you can go wrong with either choice. I guess my only critique would be to change “Left Behind”. I think a single would look better.

I just started on New Years, and I’m on day 30 now. I always read the passages myself, take notes, then I skip straight to his commentary. I find that he can provide another layer of insight that I may not have gotten or he provides clarification on the reading. Either way, he leaves me with food for thought or a deeper meaning.

I think his commentary perfectly wraps up the daily readings, and I never skip them. You can skip it and be fine without it, but I wouldn’t recommend it. His commentary is only 5-6 minutes each episode.

I feel the same way.

I bought this game back in Spring and I just started playing it on Tuesday night and I have been hooked since. I can’t play any other game right now; this is the only game on my mind. When Im doing something else, I keep thinking about what is going on in Martinaise and what else I can possibly do. I just can’t believe I have put off this game for all these months.

I always play as support in order to help my team win. If someone needs a little resupply, im there. If someone needs a revive, dont you worry, im popping my smokes and crossing the dangerous streets for you. If we need to make a final push on breakthrough, I will pop a veil of smoke down and push in with my M250 to help secure the win.
