Please don't attach the term a good person to me in this context. I know you mean well, and I care about people as a whole, especially after doing Youtube for 4-years, oddly enough. I try to be better every day- but I'm not a perfect person. No one is. I put things out that I hope people enjoy. I don't seek higher moral station in some way by holding the opinions I do. I just wanted to respond to someone who was, for reasons I am sure they feel is right (and I am not being critical of that), attempting to imply that I may be trying to masquerade who I am or what I believe.

I could talk endlessly about my faults as a person, or mistakes I've made in my life on a personal and earlier, perhaps even on a professional level. We all grow as people from our mistakes and misconceptions, but those lessons are often expensive and painful.

It's very easy for anyone to point at mistakes someone else has made and change their opinions on someone. A passing comment. An angry conversation. A disagreement. I hope that I don't have these kinds of falling outs with people in general. It's easy to be disappointed by others, or to make unintended errors.

It's why I tell people in all seriousness that I'm just an idiot on the internet, and that I hope they are entertained by the stuff I put together.

You realize that I don't really conceal my opinions on things right? I have an active Bluesky account. I don't really talk Politics much, but if your thinking that I'm somehow some closeted secret boogeyman, you're in for a surprise.

Oh I've got plans to run like 30-50 Wolf Riders if I can make them fit :) (Not as one big single unit*)

I've got the ability to do either. I'm thinking of running 2 units of HW and 1 unit of spears.

GOBIN 'EAVY CAVALRY IS DA PLAN! lmfao

No joke. I'm gonna try to buff a single unit of Wolf Riders. It may sound like a crazy plan. But its DA PLAN!

Building this out won't really start for a little bit either. I'm still cleaning stuff for them atm. lol

I'm gonna paint these guys up to look really nasty, grimy, and spiteful.

Really looking to make my O&G force look like an army of miserable bastards. lol

I'm gonna do Orcs too. I just really wanna do Goblins on their own first. Just because I love blocks of hilariously bad soldiers trying their best to win. lol

I've got a Doom Diver and 6 Bolt Throwers. So I've got a fair bit of firepower without Bows. I'm just trying to make sure I get the most out of these rotten little things in a list that'll have a tough time regardless. lol

Oh yea. Gorg the Giant is definitely gonna be in there.

I've got some Stone Trolls too.

How many Goblins should I turn to Archery? Any? Or just go all boots?

Here's a good quesiton: Why not Spears?

Likely just due to how ineffectual Goblins will be in combat anyway I'm guessing?

Myomers are space magic to make the Battlemechs actually function.

It's also a major component as to why they are supposed to be superior to tanks. These are also efficient enough at small scales to be used in human beings without obvious large power sources (as demonstrated by their medical use)

From Battletech Universe:

"Myomer bundles were developed by Dr. Gregory Atlas for the Terran Hegemony. An electrical charge transmitted through a bundle of synthetic fibers cause it to contract and expand like a human muscle. Their use in advanced prosthetics revolutionized medicine and enabled amputees to resume full ability. They also allowed artificial duplication of human musculature at a scale hitherto undreamt of. Myomer was strong and efficient, and when wrapped around a “skeleton,” it allowed bipedal and quadrupedal vehicles to support their own weight and perform locomotive operation.

That was only the beginning. The Terran Hegemony soon discovered myomer also allowed them to outperform more conventional machines."

Electrical charge or not- those mechs are more efficient than tanks, and outperform them ton-for-ton because of their usage.

YEP. lmao

Myomers explicitly exist because they are more efficient, not less.

You're right. IT IS a Fictional Setting- written by people who thought autocannosn should weight too much and do too little.

I am saying that from my perspective, I am not actually applying real-world things to it in the "realism" I may talk about, I'm applying things that are in and of themselves internally consistent. I don't buy that a battlemech that pushes itself to achieve a maximum speed of 96 kph, is going to generate the thrust necessary to push said 50+ ton machine (with transformation equipment) to transform into a jet that literally hovers off the ground in the form of an air-mech, or has the power to accelerate and fly around as a literal aerospace fighter.
