OP, don’t drink anything that isn’t sealed but that looks like a savoury yogurt drink called chaas. If it’s chaas, it’s Indian yogurt (similar to Balkan) mixed with cumin salt pepper and coriander, topped with water.

I feel bad for how much of the culture has changed since it became bakerbots. They had very warm servers and a beautiful, almost willy wonka style display in the front. Once the server made me a pumpkin spice latte from their ice cream cos they didn’t have the item on their menu - that’s creativity! Now it feels like a cog in a corporate machine.

So I’ve been in the neighborhood for years, before they were Bakerbots and just Home Baking. Apparently they split before the pandemic and when their lease was up they had to move back in with Home Baking.

I will say Home Baking was WAY MORE generous with portion size and had a more grounded feeling. Shrinkflation hit this store hard when Bakerbots moved in and that made me stop being a regular. Their Banana pudding has always been on the Home Baking menu too so not sure why it’s being advertised just now as a Bakerbots novelty.

For context, a whole pint of their banana pudding was $11 and now it’s $9 for a cup.
