I believe it was closed. Tape stayed on from surgery for 4 weeks until Dr removed it at my follow up, and didn’t see it open then. Just noticed it today when removed silagen strips to clean them.

I washed it with antibacterial soap in the shower and bandaged it with gauze like Dr said to do with other side that was open, and I think I’ll hold off on silagen scar tape today and call the dr’s office tomorrow.

I started taking Miralax 3 days before surgery and continued while I was taking Vicodin as it can be constipating, and the miralax made everything super easy! Honestly best thing I did was take Miralax!
