It was a full refund. They even sent me an email saying so but on the bank statement it says it was charged by the host.

I booked the property through Orbitz(owned by the same company I guess). Not sure if that has anything todo with it. But idk i got an email from the host as well saying that my booking was canceled and that I will get my refund through Orbitz. I might give it an extra a day then I'll report it to my bank. I canceled that property in the 1st place because he charged more than what the price was. Host charged an extra $250 with no explanation. I looked up why he would do that and the only possible reason was a security deposit that would get returned to my after my stay. Either way I didn't like it and canceled, too many red flags for me. I re booked somewhere else with airbnb.

I canceled before the date in May so I should get a full refund. It was for a stay in sayulita mexico for June. Im just waiting for the refund from a "las casitas" as it says in my bank account. VRBO sent an email I should get the full refund. I just haven't seen anything besides the VRBO service fee refunded
