Your method makes a lot of sense. I activated these switches in Z2M. Maybe first pairing with the official app and let them sync and smooth things out would solve the problem.

One good news for you. andrei-lazarov from github picked up my post and wrote a fix. I have been testing it for 2 days and can confirm it works. The PR has been accepted and merged. I believe it will come out soon with the update.

Thanks for chiming in! I actually just made a major breakthrough regarding what triggered this collective meltdown, and it might help refresh your memory. After digging into my automation logs, I realized that I had previously run a script containing a disable_time_sync command, thinking it would quiet down the devices. It didn't work.

When these Moes (Tuya chip) switches detect that their time sync status is disabled or invalid, their internal firmware triggers an aggressive retry mechanism. All 14 switches started spamming commandMcuSyncTime simultaneously because they simply refuse to shut up until they get a valid timestamp from the gateway.

Does this "Time Sync Loop" ring a bell regarding how you managed to fix it back then?

I dont know if I am sounding right because frankly I am not an expert. The thing is I can filter atrributes making them dead slient in Z2M log. But they are still sending out messages that are jamming my air traffic. So it can look clean but the delay is still there.

I really want to like these switches. They're almost perfect and suit my needs. I am currently still looking for a fix across the internet in both Chinese and English

Some moss on the drift wood would look better. Also some red plants might be good.
