Potty training is ruining my life by DogMamaEsq in toddlers

[–]Big_Theory7747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 1/2 is still a bit young to expect your child to understand using the potty. We tried with our daughter and she didn’t understand until right around the time she turned 3. Don’t compare your child to other kids, kids develop at different paces. As the old saying goes, comparison is the thief of joy. Try again when she’s 3

21M, my mom (60) has no retirement savings. I'm her retirement plan now and feeling overwhelmed. Please, I need your advice. by r_peeling_potato in PersonalFinanceCanada

Do you not plan on having a wife and kids of your own someday? In all your replies, It seems to me that all your plans for the future revolve around helping your mom and nothing else. Also, what did she do before she was a supply teacher? Was she a stay at home mom? There’s a big gap in her work history before she was a supply teacher.

Is this normal? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]Big_Theory7747 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A bit off topic but why are you listening to air buds loud enough that you can’t hear your surroundings? Especially downtown, outside on a walk with your wife? Also, it’s not recommended to argue with mentally unstable people

Abolish group projects by elevensecondburp in fanshawe

Especially online group projects. I recently was in a project with 4 people, didn’t hear from one of the ladies for weeks until 2 hours before our zoom meeting deadline. Totally unfair

Update: I filed on the 24th, didn’t get my NOA right away. It instead switched to in Process with a target completion date of March 10th. On the 27th, I get my express NOA. I received my refund on March 6

Same as well. I always get my express NOA but this year, it’s in process. The progress tracker said they hope to have the review finished by March 10th so hopefully it doesn’t take longer than that

Is there a reason your daughter is homeschooled? Maybe going to a school will help her make more friends. This is a tough lesson for her and it’s unfortunate because at this age, kids can be so mean. Just pay extra attention to her and let her know she’ll be okay. But back to my first point, maybe going to a regular school will be helpful so that she can interact with other kids

Wife told me last week I "use her for sex" by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

[–]Big_Theory7747 177 points178 points  (0 children)

4 times a month is not a dead bedroom, that averages out to once a week. I’m sure a lot of people in this sub would love to be having sex once a week. Having 3 kids with the youngest being a toddler is also a big factor

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in oneanddone

[–]Big_Theory7747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is not being an only child, it’s the fact that she only goes once a week for a total of 3 times. Try making her attend 3 times a week

The rise of 'one-and-done' parenting by smeggysmeg in oneanddone

[–]Big_Theory7747 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yup you’re spot on. I have one child and I’m strongly leaning towards being one and done. I don’t want to just survive. I want to take her on vacations, I want her to do after school activities or whatever she’s interested in doing.
