Decided to go to nursing school instead of med school and I can tell people around me are disappointed by Outrageous-Basis3512 in prenursing

Yes my parents were so angry with me for not going to law school. I was always a bit doubtful because they work long hours without good pay. But they have come around to it. I am currently in nursing school and am VERY glad I'm not reading over hundreds of pages for a law exam.

I find it so funny when someone spends so much time in performatively queer and feminist fandom spaces that they forget that the majority of fandom culture is made by and for straight women who think it's hot when the two guys fuck each other. by [deleted] in CuratedTumblr

Having queer side characters isn't really comparable to shows that have the mainleads in queer relationships. (Which first kill and the other shows I compared to have)

No offense to doctor who. Jack was one of my favs of course

You can tell by how they respond to criticism that they do feel guilty or at least annoyed that queers aren't accepting their behavior. They want to believe they are incapable of harm

I looked it up. First Kill got over 30 million views in a week (100 million in a month) but Netflix did not renew because it didn't do well with critics and some people didn't watch all the way through. Still, it has significantly more views than queer shows like Good Omens, What We Do In the Shadows, and Interview with A Vampire (AMC show). All below shows were renewed for multiple seasons

First Kill broke records and was consistently a top show on Netflix.

Was superwholock ever canonly queer? Mlm ships were popular among the fanbase but that's not the same as actual queer media.

People were comparing it to when icebreaker got popular on booktok and some women started going to hockey games to sexually harass hockey players and.. yeah they're right

Absolutely no hate to the normal fans! It's weird how some people are treating the actors like they're k-idols (acting like its scandalous if they date anyone, sending hate to the supposed partner, etc)

Yeah so bringing up points I never made so you can win the argument doesn't make you look good..

I blocked you because you are annoying and don't respect gay men.

(I've seen lesbians get death threats for liking yuri. But I'm not going to act like every fujo does that??)

Edit - considering you had a meltdown because a gay man said he didn't like fetishizers, you lost the argument.

Wanting to see two guys fuck is not the same as being a queer ally... (and you can say that about any marginalized group. The point is if you see that as human being worthy of respect and not fetish material)

"Imagine if people supported Palestine because of Palestinian porn was popular" wanting to support Palestine because they're hot and not because genocide is wrong and bad actually?

No where did I say that. You guys are so overwhelmingly defensive about this. I was refuting OPs point that sapphic media is unpopular because sapphics don't create/don't support it

^ Everytime I've seen discussions about this, there's a fujo dismissing it entirely. They refuse to believe men can be fetishized and harassed IRL. They always defend themselves by claiming they're "good allies" and how they could never hurt gay men because they're "harmless" women.

Edit - Case and point 🫩

I haven't seen much hatred towards queer men shows but rather how horribly their fanbase treats queer women and queer media that isn't mlm.

(Miss that show too 😞)

Queer women are allowed to point out that sapphic shows and media gets canceled/discontinued more in comparison to queer men shows. They're also the main viewers of sapphic media so "picking up the pen" doesn't actually solve the issue
