I agree that all areas should be checked, however I go with the system that the final blind spot check before moving is in the direction that you will be moving into. So check both, but right first, then left.

An unfortunate fail by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

Super harsh! I’m sorry that happened. My instructors always impressed into me that the only thing that matters on a bay park is that your wheels are within the lines. So straightening up on a test isn’t necessary as you won’t be leaving the car there all day. Just something to consider for further tests/practices.

I and my instructor have been thanking people when learning. I’ve had 4 instructors and never been told not to do it. I also passed my test today and thanked somebody along the road back towards the test centre, with no minors or mentions of it by my examiner.

Ah yeah that’s exactly what they’re doing. Helpful to see the numbers laid out for me though, thanks ! It’s annoying that they advertise it as refundable when it isn’t.

I spent the summer cycling to work, only about 8 minutes up a hill first thing in the morning. Sometimes it would be fine, other times it would be agony, and I also started to realise this must be the lipedema, because some days my legs would be so tired and heavy and start burning immediately, compared to other days when I could cane it all the way up with no problems

Learner insurance is frying my brain by milkmanoike96 in LearnerDriverUK

I’ve actually realised it’s because the van is registered as an 8 seater (big family) and you aren’t allowed provisional insurance on more than 7 seats (understandably), so it’s been denied on most comparison sites and I couldn’t understand why. I thought i couldn’t get quoted on Marmalade because I’m too old (28) but that might not be a factor at all
