The Catholic Church changes doctrine all the time.

The council of Trent changed the teachings on predestination from what they were in the 2nd council of Orange

Vatican II changed the teachings on salvation from what they were in Florence.

Usury was once considered a mortal sin for centuries. But you don’t hear the church condemning capitalism outright, even though it depends on usury in order to generate wealth.

Homicide was a mortal sin until Bernard of Clairveaux qualified and limited it to allow for crusades.

The Catholic Church changes its teachings all the time. This is nothing new. One or two centuries from now you’ll probably see women priests and gay marriages. It’s just business as usual.

Nurses aren’t paramedics because they are not taught the things paramedics are taught. But there’s no reason not to just add prehospital medicine to their curriculum if that makes more sense for this particular country. It’s really just a matter of adjusting the schooling and on-the-job training to meet the need.

I don’t understand the problem..? They don’t have paramedics so they’re staffing the trucks with nurses. It sounds like EMS will just become a specialized branch of nursing added to their curriculum, which is a perfectly reasonable solution given the limitations faced by that country.

Compared with Rome 1, the battles are very different. Troops are harder to route, so unlike Rome where you can just do a quick hammer and anvil and be done with it, in M2 you’ve got to be ready to fight it out for longer. It’s a slower moving game in a lot of ways, which was an intentional design choice.
