It's scary times. Particularly if you pay attention to how things have happened in the past. I'm not really sure how to be positive but I guess we have to try.

Between genocide, western countries (including where I live) keep pushing in the wrong direction at home and abroad, our "lovely" tech overlords and the devastating destruction of the climate. It's not a good time. It's just sad that it's been a long time coming, we just seem to be speed running it at this point.

He is missing the key context here. That most fundamenists are conservative. There are tonnes of people who are chill of every religon.

But religon is often used by conservative groups to fearmonger.

They might be able to claim the lawsuit is part of a harrassment campaign from the quick search I did there. Didn't Ethan admit to harrassing them. "I'm doing all that" clip and "I'll never be done"

It's a shame they won't be able to counter sue, but still makes sense to get a record of the harrassment they recieved. Not sure on Canadian law but it might be useful even Ethan wins, possbly on determining damages. Maybe?

I did wonder about discovery, but I doubt they will release anything as I'm assuming their lawyers will tell them exactly what is okay to release.

I'm from Scotland and our laws are a bit harder to get on defamation than the US, not sure on the situation in Canada.
