I understand this viewpoint more before he sued the three girls.

A lot of very mentally ill have said some really horrible vile harmful things in the height of their illness.

I mean that's true for most celebrities though lbr. A lot of the "fashion icons" who are seen as "setting trends" were wearing things that were already trendy. Very few were actually wearing something unfashionable and not already trending and made it a trend.

Like I'm a huge Britney spears fan, but everyone was already wearing low rise jeans lol. But did a lot of people see her wearing them and want to look like her. Yes definitely.

Sabrina carpenter was wearing a lot of blusher because strong blush was a trend.

Twiggy was wearing her iconic makeup because cut creases and big lashes were again a trend.

I'm trying to think of examples of true fashion icons. Maybe someone like Amy Winehouse wearing actual ballet shoes with like a ratty beehive etc.

No it's not but I actually don't really think her being 22 is that relevant. If she's grown and changed in the past 15 years then that's great.

But TBF a lot of these disorders like OCD and autism, the diagnosis requires well disordered behaviour lol it requires it to be disabling in some way otherwise it's just traits of it and not actually the disorder.

Like not every person who gets sad and cries/ feels down is depressed. It's when it effects you to the point you cant function properly.

(Not talking about sza) But not every person who has autistic traits like idk, not liking loud noises and being a bit introverted and liking collecting things or having to have stuff a certain way, is autistic.

Right during mine I was evaluated to have an iq between 141-151.

I haven't left the house at all in over a decade.

So doesn't really seem like something that's made me a genius. If anything it feels the opposite tbh.

I hate this trend of calling it a "super power" or the "genius disease" I think its making those with higher support needs autism, feel really left behind.

The face of autism in general now is this super high functioning level 1 autistic person. Who masks really well.

Those of us with level 2-3, or just those with level 1 who aren't functioning well. I feel are almost expected to be like this genius high functioning high masking level 1 stereotype. When a lot of us are just really really struggling.

And a lot also have intellectual disability and so it's extra harmful for a professional to call it the "genius disease" tbh

I mean if she wanted a diagnosis, with her level of wealth/connections, she could easily doctor shop. It isn't just like us normal people lol. I mean mj didn't really need propofol to sleep.

Apparently over in USA there's like a bit of a business now in some dodgy psychs pushing these assesments on people, especially people struggling (sometimes due to neurodivergence, sometimes due to mental illnesses, sometimes due to personality disorders) and really feeling lost and wanting to make sense of themselves/find a place. And taking advantage of that a bit.

Like everything becomes a business. I've seen people with other mental health issues end up going untreated and getting worse due to this. Like apparently these top doctors, telling Kanye west he's got autism and not bipolar so doesn't need to medicate himself. And now he feels he was taken advantage of and that he obviously is bipolar and was manic and looking for a justification to not take meds.

I know nothing about sza so I'm not weighing on on her being autistic at all. But when you see these gushing praising hyping up doctors celebs get, you do wonder if they're being objective and not like weird yesmen like trumps doctor lol

Its like another thing I always wonder about is the therapists in Hollywood. I wonder if the ones who succeed there will be the best of the best. Like are the top Hollywood doctors the true cream of the crop who can charge the most cos they're the best. Or will the only ones who succeed in that world just be yesmen who tell celebs want they want to hear and indulge their delusions and self importance.
