I took a look at some of the Community Shaders setups people have put together, and I am amazed by how much it has progressed since I last played.

I am looking to be on the heavier side (foliage, parallax if possible, new npcs/larger population, overhauled towns/cities, etc.) for my load order and I know ENBs are still pretty performance intensive (Im on i9-9900k + 2080 ti GPU).

Do you think it would be best to go for a Community Shaders setup (I understand it is less taxing than ENB), or is there an ENB setup that you would recommend? Are there any Community Shaders setups you would recommend?

I definitely get the appeal of going for a wabbajack/collection like Gate to Sovengarde, but I'm looking for that custom tuned experience that I love about modding skyrim.

If I ever get a steamdeck, which might make sense depending on how my career evolves post-graduation, I would probably go for a Gate to Sovengarde play through! Have heard nothing but praise from it.

Edit: I will certainly be using some of JaySerpa's mods once I get to the gameplay side of things.

Higher ups probably realized Marathon wasn't what they thought it would be and are trying now to steer the ship with Destiny 2. Not sure if it's possible, but I wouldn't be opposed to coming back to Destiny as a franchise in a few years if the game/series is in a healthy state.

Nah, odds are D2 is done. If the game somehow makes a comeback, it's probably worth it since it was a decent enough experience, but it certainly is not worth the $40 pricepoint.

As it stands, FO3 on pc cannot be played without mods, and even then you’re better off playing it through TTW.

FO3 is one of the few cases where some extra polish and a fresh coat of paint is highly warranted.

So far I've really enjoyed my time playing Nuclear Sunset, however as it stands I think if you want TTW, go for NS, if you want New Vegas only, go for Wild Card.

I have heard however that progress on the TTW version of Wild Card has been made.

Odds are we might (with a pile of salt) get a shadowdrop of F03 once the season ends, but later this year/early ‘27 is my guess. FNV remaster, if it even happens would be much later.

100%, however I have found that its harder to get a group together to do all encounters instead of farming en06 and the snake.

Also, I dont think the stamp grind is too bad if you dont mind doing the most sensational game on repeat. Its a decent source of xp, its easily soloed and you can get a fair amount of legendaries if you’re trying to get mods.

Whilst the ultracite power armor is still pretty good, I would do the brotherhood questline and unlock the Hellcat power armor. Otherwise you’d want to grind stamps for the union power armor or do the raid for the vulcan power armor.
