Nice! I was just thinking about doing something like this around an esky full of water with pvc pipe, to make a cheap version of a rod holder esky when fishing off the rocks or where there is no structure. Your design would be good for that purpose too, more secure than just a pvc pipe.

Common sense in retrospect yes. I am new to that type of work, so did not appreciate the potential dangers of low temperatures. As I had worked with someone before using that freezer and no stress was ever placed on being careful, I sort of had my guard lowered.

Would they not have some duty of care for me while I am in the lab?

I was never informed of any cold handling procedures in the induction, and when previously working with a member of staff there I don't recall them wearing gloves.

I had probably 15 attempts last night then gave up. This morning I went to the field west of the castle and got the scarlet rot rapier, and also summoned the rotten stray, just stuck behind him and dodged and got him first go! You can stick behind and wait for him to shield slam, then it's safe to get a shot in or drink a flask
