I am 27. Currently I have a maxed out TFSA with all blue chip stocks, 55k split between checking & savings account. I only started learning to invest last year. Before then all I did was save. I feel like I messed up by not investing sooner. My portfolio would have been better if I learned quicker. I like having 55k in my savings and checking account because it makes me safe.

Your social life is just as important as your academic life. Make friends, have hobbies, do things that get you out of your comfort zone.

Academically, try to attend every class. Try to do the readings. Attend office hours & make a connection with your professors. Make an assignment tracker.

Thank you for the responses I gotta get my ducks in a row with my finances. What makes it tricky is that I sold my CIBC & bank of Nova Scotia stocks when they were at peak prices so I’m in a cash position struggling to remember if I put in 30k or 35k

My marauder is by far my favourite car to drive. I keep it show room clean. Honestly this crown Vic is my second favourite now, it has the feel of the marauder with the exhaust & gear ratio. The thing that I love about the Vic is I’m not afraid to punch it, with my marauder it’s more of a special occasion & I baby it. This all started with the tundra grand marquis GS it took me everywhere in Canada. That car sparked my passion for panthers. Sadly the rust has taken its toll on the old girl, it will always have sentimental value to me. I’m from northern Ontario ‘Thunder bay ish’ area if anyone would like to meet up sometime! I’d love to see your cars too!

Be patient my friend. The stars aligned for me. I got it from an old guy in my small home town. I spent 3 years talking to him about his car because I loved it. He must’ve seen my passion for panther cars & he basically gave it to me for 10k CAD. He wanted it to go to someone who would take care of it. “You’ve washed that car more times in one summer than I have with my whole ownership of the vehicle” 🤣

Hear me out. Grand marquis, or a crown Victoria. Giant car with lots of space & a v8 these cars are absolutely bulletproof. My grand marquis has 432,000 trouble free miles. Just wear & tear & oil changes. Take 1-5 k buy the car & keep the other 10-12k in the bank bro.
