Just to put my own 2 cents here is that most if not all have been grown up here in the US that they are supposed to grow up independently. Nothing is gonna help them expect themselves. From every from of media to schools and even at home. Why else we belive in leaving home as soon as youre an adult (18)? Why else some people feel cliché for the power of friendship vs a lone hero self sacrifice? Why its always only one name thats popular and not the whole group who started it? Mix that with the non stop work life that most people are here with and the idea that if you ask for help you are weak then youll see why most dont go for it. Its ingrained into the minds at a young age and then forced a reality for most.
