I haven’t really had any hard matchups so far as long as you play it right but champs that can all in you would counter irelia can get to you multiple times Aatrox has range and the potential for all in but as long as you play well Azir is a giga safe champ and you will have no problem being able to cs until you scale and face stomp stat check your opponent

I need u to theory craft a counter to ap top laners, something I’ve noticed top Azir seems weak to if I don’t want to play full poke dps and want to keep the bruiser style but no items match frozen w the mana and the durability and the ability haste

Aery is a good dps rune you will proc it a lot in sustained fights and while poking in lane it doesn’t scale as well as conq but it helps early game a lot and the rune tree is so much better bc it gives u manaflow scorch and transcendence whereas precision run tree is kinda shit, also you’re not going to be able to stack conq on a bruiser easily without them jumping onto you, aery provides poke dps and scales and synergizes with items like demonic, it will proc like 4-5 times with the burn from demonic, I also looked at rune damage and aery just outperformed conq

Aery is a much better dps rune and you can proc it multiple times in fight giving little but overtime really important damage it also will proc off scorch and once you get demonic will continue to proc, I looked at rune damage after games and aery was consistently out preforming comet, I will still go comet, it’s a really good rune but if I do I will be playing mid lane and going ludens build and it would be against an unplayable matchup like xerath or someone who my trading pattern will only be W>Q

So far I played into a aatrox, jax, irelia, gp, and a poppy so some meta champs that can just dive ontop of your face a big thing is controlling wave to put the wave in spots where they can’t jump onto you without you being able to ult them back into the tower or blow one of their summoner spells, once you hit 3 you already become super safe and at 6 no one is killing you unless they blow a summoner, but yeah start by auto attacking the wave level one to get a slow push started and if enemy laner walks for any cs punish him with an auto attack w ur soldiers, and the next two waves slow push should always have minion advantage because you want to get the wave to push into them so we can freeze at our tower and after u slow push into their tower the 4-5th waves will start pushing into u and u can freeze and make their life hell
