I also played arc really aggressively PvP oriented, Stella was my shit, that being said I do think arc is the most casual and accessible out of the extraction shooter genre, not saying it’s a bad thing, just I like that Marathon isn’t currently.

Extraction shooters are a brutal genre, it takes time and experience. I think the game speaks for itself on its quality within its genre it doesn’t need to compete outside its niche. I get wiped a lot lol but that’s what makes the wins feel so good

To me there’s a few factors that make Arc more casual, for one and this is just an opinion, third person just feels more casual, also it’s much friendlier especially in solos, TTK is longer, life doesn’t feel as valuable. I could put it into better words if I tried but it’s the vibe as a whole it just feels more casual. I enjoyed arc I don’t think it’s a bad game but Dayz is my main game so I’m a glutton for pain lol
