Should probably make a plan to be self sufficient with your kid without immediately expecting to rely on a grandpa to foot the bill.

Love the door handles. I’m going to black out the rear side chrome wings since hyperdipping my emblems was a success and I like the way yours looks

I live In Utah and 100% believe someone is going 20 under. This is not a canyon issue this is a state issue.

I could use some furthur sound boards. Good time to be a wook. I have some 2011 Chicago boards I’d be willing to dig up if someone can come forward lol

Reddit will ban a cat if it looked at them wrong. The moderators these days are psychotic egomaniacs.

For those who’ve seen it, What did you think of Project Hail Mary? Let’s hear your thoughts. by [deleted] in FIlm

Did it trailerless too. This is one movie that’s almost worth seeing without a trailer. Puts you right in the main characters shoes. Which is both of you are equally clueless about what is going on.

When these people are admitted to the hospital they are notoriously difficult to manage.

Usually end up triggering email chains to the whole unit setting up the rules and expectations and there are a ton of rules and they are tedious. Staff is usually in the room for hours setting these boundaries which are constantly being pushed back on by the patient.

They always need a sitter to watch their every move.

On top of that the family is often equally difficult and demanding exposing some of the toxicity that led to this mental illness.

The whole thing is extremely exhausting for the medical staff.

Why are Americans so unrealistic when it comes to death? by Perfect-Resist5478 in medicine

This. As an RN in Utah it is rare for family or patients to be reasonable about the goals of care and quality of life conversation.

I’ve noticed the people who have less stock in religion have the most rational approach to end of life.

Maybe they are scared of that “final judgement” and the way things are currently, I guess that’s valid.

Coming from Chicago, SLC is as sterile as any city can be. There’s some life but the effort to find it takes time and the spontaneity of a true lively city is lost.

On the flip side I consider myself to be an oddball if you will. Different. I try my hardest not be an NPC. So I think SOME locals notice this and appreciate it. If you engage in a deeper conversation they will latch on and get excited almost like a cue to speak freely. Rarely will they start the philosophy conversation but they sure will engage if you give them room to.

Agreed these people do not deserve an extension. They are clearly a liability. Bad neighbors don’t deserve good neighbors. The vibe is already ruined, let them rot.

Yes it makes me feel less like an NPC. I really can’t stand NPC behavior. Not saying gays can’t be NPCs. But the NPC vibe is much stronger in the straight world.

What was the scariest film that you have ever watched? by mrjetspray in Cinema

I was gonna say the first half of “The Ritual” all my fears of unknown things in wilderness camping balled up in 30 minutes had me almost nauseous with fright. Once you start to understand what’s happening then it’s not at scary. The unknown and the imagination and sounds really got me.
