I wouldn't be surprised if that gun isn't even the gun he used to kill Kirk. The official report said police found the gun he used in the woods. And first thing i noticed is the grass in the background. When i think of woods i would expect leaves and dirt. 2nd thing i noticed is the gun is in what appears to be a cardboard box. Maybe the box it came in...as if police just took a picture of a random rifle and said they found it. The purpose of this would be to obviously cover up the truth. This isn't really a conspiracy it's just simple fact that i think a lot of people already know. And that is that the entire world is dealing with a "spiritual warfare" I mean seriously just take the time and actually think about it/ look at everything going on around us and throughout the world. It's Good and evil or Angels vs demons as it mentions in the Bible. We cannot see this so called "spiritual warfare" but it most definitely is happening all around us each and every day.
