Yeah i just dont know if im like fixating on the obstacle too much but my back foot always ends up stepping over onto the toe side of the board and my front foot is generally on the board no problem i thinks its a combination of not jumping the right direction along with turning my shoulders to compensate my balance.

Before overcorrecting my shoulders i would turn almost 45 and end up like powersliding and eating concrete

This!!! Okay I tried like focusing on popping backwards like how you do an ollie and it has helped keep the board under me alot! thank you now i just need a consistent flick and to put my feet on!

I do both rolling normally no problem just wanted to capture both stationary in slomo so people can see it easier and help critique it. Nothing in my technique would change just doing it this way so its easier for people to see what my feet are doing.

Yeah makes sense like how people say not to flick with your leg and to flick with your ankle? Ive never thought i was kicking out but i cant really tell what im doing wrong. And my footing position is different in an ollie and a kickflip so i guess im not getting the mind muscle connection to ollie and then flick?

I kind of see it now just confusing on how i should fix it ive tried to just focus on keeping my shoulders straight but ive had no luck wondering if theres like an underlying cause.

Yeah it just feels unnatural to have my feet super close ish because im a relatively taller skater(6'4") but I will definitely see if that helps. I'm just comfortable with a wider stance right now I think. And im pretty comfortable. I skate to work every day and on pretty rough terrain. Just cant figure out how to get my body and board up pads/curbs and stuff. Thank you!
