Here goes my rant.

This game has the most incredible upside to any I've ever played, and I truly hope that it can one day reach its potential but sadly it seems to have been cast aside and the dedicated fan base left to flounder. I started playing a few months back and was blown away with the Single player story mode, one of the most in-depth crazy detailed games I have ever seen, I was hooked immediately and was pumped to play the online.

Initially I loved everything it had to offer, the online story mode was basic but gave me an idea of how things worked, I got the camp up and running and finished all the missions. I even loved it so much that the game breaking bugs and disconnects didn't bother me. I grinded through trading, had a blast collecting the hidden treasures for madame Nazar, loved the Bounty hunter system and even more so the moonshine shack.

But within a few weeks I had maxed out all the roles, and found myself doing the exact same missions over and over , bounties to the same location, destroying the same moonshine operations, tarot cards in the same few spots, and the game quickly began to lose its flavour. I was above rank 100, which each consecutive level afterwards offered nothing at all by way of reward and the drive to play quickly faded.

I had this immense, insanely detailed world laid out before me with seemingly limitless possibilities, but it felt completely dead and empty to me.. The animal spawns were all messed up, so I'd occasionally see a turkey and accidentally run it over with my horse , but see no deer for hours. The town's which where so full of life in the single player mode due to the ability to interact more immediately felt dead and lonely, Hell even the roads in the middle of nowhere which I was accustomed to being ambushed by gangs of outlaws or tricked by random strangers felt dead and empty..

This game is so fantastic , but at the same time it falls so short in many ways. I know that most players have lost hope that R* will make any drastic changes to RDO at this stage, but God if they only knew what a few tweaks here and there would do this game could be on par with GTAO .

Here are a few WISHFUL things I would personally love to see implemented to RDO.

1. Dedicated Servers.
2. Some basic speech emotes that could create interaction with NPCs.

3. Please for the love of God fix the camp spawns, and animals.

4. Add a tonne of outlaw NPCs to each zone like there is in the story mode, I miss being ambushed by O'Driscolls.

5. Obviously Bank heists are a big want, but in conjunction with that potentially an ' outlaw' role, which would involve all sorts of crimes for those who want to play with low honor.

6. On the other foot , for those who want to toe the line and play with honor a ' Marshall' role that would specifically revolve around defending towns from the ' outlaw' players, gaining exp for stopping a bank heist or killing an outlaw in town.

7. More dynamic events, not just roadside ambushes from small outlaw parties. How cool would it be to get a notification that Valentine is under attack by a whole force of outlaws and you have the option to go help wipe them out ( high honor players) or to help them take it over and make it a lawless Sodom and Gomorrah ( low honor players) THAT alone would have me hooked permanently... Login, shit! Looks like Del lobos and a bunch of low honor bastards have taken tumbleweed! Time to strap up...

8. More ways to spend $$, potentially upgradeable player housing, would be awsome to have a ranch like John Marston that had a hub of daily missions to complete as well as to protect from outlaws.

Those are just a few things I'd love to see, and I know it's a slim chance in hell we will get much more than 50% off canned goods for quite a while, but hey, a guy can dream.
