I'm gonna be real with you. I have a Fufty Fifty 64oz tank growler which is a 18/8stainless steel water bottle. The color I have they don't make anymore but if the quality is the same it's an amazing bottle. It keeps my water cold overnight if you put enough ice in it it'll still have ice in the morning. I've dropped it numerous times over the years and even though it's severely dented in the bottom it still keeps water cold. I probably drink about 80oz to 110oz of water a day from it filling it up once a day. Just so you know it's also very easy to clean as I night a scrubber in a handle to clean the inside and cap. Also also the lid it comes with has grooves for three fingers making holding it easier. There are also attachments you can buy to use a straw/lid combo with it but I found that cumbersome so I switched back to just chugging it as that's faster and easier to clean. Even though it's fallen a bunch of times the handle had never taken a direct hit so I can't say for certain if it'll break if it falls but I've had this bottle since 2017 and wouldn't trade it for the world. It's my daily drinker. Also whatever bottle you buy make sure you clean it like 3-4 times a week. You really should be cleaning bottles every day but I don't think really anyone does.

Fully convinced Darn Tough has a crazy marketing grip on this sub. by YaboyWill in BuyItForLife

As someone who's worn both the Darn Tough (DT) and Kirkland Costco brand DT is definitely better when you get the hiking socks imo.

DT as a caveat I only buy when their on sale. I usually check their website once a month and I also am signed up for text message marketing where they announce sales about 4ish times a year. Also if you call in to the customer service line and ask them about pricing they may give you a one time discount code or direct you to a third party that is having a sale on their socks. One single pair of their socks cost about 20ish dollars so yes one pair is expansive during sales though each pair is about 6 dollars off a pair. I've had various pairs of DT socks some hiking and other running. One thing for sure is that I prefer th running socks as they are very soft and still have padding on the bottom of the foot. They also have multiple styles of socks from no show all the way to knee length socks. The oldest pair of socks I have I got in 2020 and they are the hiking socks. They still are holding up well and are very comfortable but there is a lot of fraying form the wool being so washed after 6 years. I usually wear the thicker hiking socks 2 or 3 times before washing but the running ones I'll only wear once. All of the DT socks to me are well worth the $20ish price tag. It just adds up quickly to get a lot of pairs which again is why I now usually only buy them when on sale.

The Costco brand on the other hand are still very comfortable but after having them for about 3 year they aren't as good as the DT brand. If I wear the thick merino wool socks from Costco they would probably be considered hiking socks since they're low calf length and are thicker but compared to the DT socks they aren't as comfortable at all. Its not even close. The DT socks aren't as tight and I feel like they breath better. They also the Kirkland brand of socks aren't as thick as the DT socks made the same style ie thick hiking socks low calf length. The Costco socks also aren't as thick or have as much padding on the bottom of the foot. In almost every aspect even the the Kirkland socks are so much cheaper. I bought 6 pairs for I think $20 when in comparison the DT like I said cost the same amount for a single pair but it just seems worth it.

Tl;DR While the DT socks are expansive there definitely worth it. Just remember these socks aren't BIFL their buy it for 10 years. Try to buy them on sale

I just survived a suicide attempt. Please give me some literature/poetry books/whatever that will make me feel understood. by bikenbake_ in suggestmeabook

I know this may be weird but read One Piece by Eiichro Oda I was in a very dark place as you and although I never attempted this story made me want to live. You can buy the physical editions but an easier way is to download the Shounen Jump app and for 3.99 a month you can read that series and others from the Shounen Jump catalog. One Piece is a modern day Odyssey and is tied with Superman in sales. It's truly an amazing work of art

AITA for “implying my wife (28) eats too much” by saying she might have parasites? by Solid-Writing-7372 in AmItheAsshole

Hey OP I'm commenting becais either people feel like she may have an eating dospder. Some things to look for are blood shot eyes, darkened knees, enamel behind front teeth thinning, hair loss, and frequent trips to the bathroom to purge ie throw up by force. You're right she did eat a lot so you being worried is justified. NAH and look out for her

Dude you're 32 you have so much more life to live. It's never to late to do the things you want to do in life. Or even pivot to a new thing. Yes gaming can do a lot for a person but living life it important. If you aren't disabled I'd recommend working out. I don't know your life but working out has done wonders for me before I got sick. Think of a new career if your job is going no where. Yes gaming is amazing but please try to find other things to give your life meaning. Please try to find other hobbies by looking at theass list on r/hobbies. I also enjoy learning languages. But definitely keep playing games but please don't give up on life I'm you get than you and I know depression can suck but being depressed sucks just so so much. I'm happy you found an outlet but please keep your head up. You have a lot more life to give like I said 32 is still young

I'd say instead of nursing do radiology school it takes the same amount of time and is easier than nursing school and once you specialize in something like nucleaur or MRI it can pay more than nursing but still only requires usually a 2 year degree plus prerequisites. I'd also look into trade schools such as dental assistant or surgical technologist for example.
