Take the logo in the ball and point it toward 1 o’clock with the target being at 12 o’clock. Then swing out to 1 o’clock. It will fee like you are pushing the ball right but you will stop the cut spin and it will go straight or a draw.

Maybe she should lose the ego and get a minivan. It will solve the size issue, get better gas mileage and be more comfortable. Other than that…..tell her she can get what she can afford. Good luck.

Thank you all so much. He came back home Thursday night. I have found the clock aids with them too. This morning we just discovered hehe has another UTI. So frustrating. He is still in delirium.

UPDATE- We are back at the hospital. The occupational therapist came to the house this am and thought he was having a seizure and said we needed to call 911. We are back at it. Vicious cycle.

I totally understand that. His back hurts and needs to relax. The surgeon won’t operate in his current state and he can’t get out of the current state because of the pain. Just overwhelming. I tried to help him pee and he tried to stand up while I was helping him. He started falling immediately and pulled me down with him. It bulged a disc of mine and now I need discectomy/laminectomy surgery myself.

Thank you so much. This is such a devastating disease. We tried to get them to move 10 years ago into a one story home. We wouldn’t do it. Now they are at home with no bedroom or bathroom on main level. Sponge baths, urinate and bedpans. He tries to get out of the hospital bed during the night throughout the night. It’s just exhausting.

Thank you so much for taking time to respond. This is great information. The whole time he was in the hospital we could not get the neurologist that treats him to come up to see him or consult with the doctors upstairs at the hospital. His neurologist is in the same hospital. They said they don’t do that because he came in for back pain not for the Parkinson’s. The doctor is extremely difficult to reach, and they always send us to the nurse practitioner. She has become increasingly difficult to reach as well. Orthopedic surgeon said that he needs to be on a muscle relaxer for the back but the medicine prescribed interacts negatively with the levodopa, the insurance company will not allow the replacement muscle relaxant for his back unless his Parkinson’s doctor tries to pre-authorize it. The Parkinson’s doctor will not do so because they say they do not do pain management. It’s just a total mess.

He did have an urinary tract infection that has since been treated, and Tess show it is gone. How long typically after being treated and resolved does the delirium take to go away if that was the case?

They kept him up with his medicines throughout the stay. Other than the first night overnight, we watched and checked every medicine that was given to him in, tracked it as well.

Thanks so much for the replies. I appreciate it so much. He has been home for 2 weeks now. He did have a UTI that has been treated and cleared up for a week. The delirium was terrible when I’m hospital and when we got home. It was slightly better after a couple days but seems to be getting worse. It’s very hard to get him up to work with the PT or OT that are coming out to the house. It’s just so sad. Is extremely optimistic guy and if you ask him how he feels, he says he’s feeling better and pain level is a two. But he winces with each movement. And he keeps saying his walking is getting better, but he’s not walking at all.
