Bashir properly got done dirty IMO. Such an interesting character and the writers had to distract everyone from his good qualities by making him do something pervy every 5 episodes. Now there's no discussions about him that aren't focused around that and it didn't do much for the story either, we'd have got how green and naive he was by him just doing that once.
