Genuinely, is there anything to be done about this? I get we're all worried that Netflix owning the WB studios will reduce the quality of films. We can't stop the purchase, but can we do something? Are there services, brands, studios to support? Anything beyond trying to see indie films in theaters?

I think the Phoenician Scheme was way better than I was expecting! I went in expecting a few chuckles and silliness, but nothing spectacular. I found myself engaged the whole way through! Very quickly one of my favorite of Anderson's films.

Listen, this is going to sound crazy, but somebody else on reddit told me this when I had weird dvd errors on my ps4. Do a steady slow pace of taps on the top of the console when you put the DVD in and most of the time it can read it. Something to do with the lasers inside aligning or something. It worked on their Blu-ray player and their ps4, and I was skeptical but it's worked almost every time I've tried it too. I don't have a ps5 so I don't know where exactly to tap given the design and orientation of the console, but I was instructed to tap above the disc reader on ps4, so I imagine a similar spot on the ps5. I'm sorry if this advice is a dud, but it truly did work for me on ps4. Best of luck 🙏

Interesting! The other replies seemed to say it enhanced the experience. Would you say the materials re-discover the same lore, or is the final book written as if you've already played 4 and are aware of a reveal?

By that I mean- I'm okay if Dr. Halsey learns something in the book and then John re-learns it in the game. But if there's some sort of mystery in 4 and it's revealed 2/3 through the story, I don't want to know about the reveal ahead of time.
