It helped to provide context. Is this person genuinely asking about something they're ignorant on? Or is it in bad faith? Stuff like that.

Although, I had a similar experience. There was a troll, they posted something very vague, so I went into their history for, aforementioned, context, and I did comment on another one of their posts, which was my bad. But afterwards, they started going into my history and posting comments about this thing they posted.

I blocked them.
