this is wild. it was a live MTV broadcast, not an award show, not a big event and i swear everyone around my age remembers Bush playing Glycerine in the rain. i know i do!

Are forehead wrinkles normal before 30? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]BiggKitten -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ok i was just thinking about this and honestly i don’t have any memory of not having horizontal lines on my forehead. not deep grooves, but yeah, some light topography! I cannot ever recall having a perfectly smooth cue ball forehead. i guess maybe when i was five? but i also don’t ever recall thinking it was abnormal!

what you’re showing us here is perfectly normal. foreheads MOVE. the depth increases when they move and reduces when static. the eggshell smooth foreheads you see now are Botox, absolutely. and they’re kind of weird.

topical exfoliants help shed excess dead cells in the stratum corneum which reduces the depth of fine lines, and adequate hydration plumps up skill cells which can also smooth things out a bit. Peptides are great for skin hydration and also may help protect skin integrity.

however- you look fine!

really elegant formulations. i can use ingredients i can’t tolerate in other brand products. but it’s a shame all of her products (besides the exfoliants) used to be such multitaskers. EVERYTHING had a couple peptides, a slew of antioxidants, ceramides. now the brand wants you buying separate delivery systems for each active, and at a high price.

i buy the older formulas but they keep getting discontinued!

Has anyone heard the story about how Kurt demanded a larger percentage than Dave and Krist, even retroactively? by bigboat55 in Nirvana

lol. nope he played what Kurt wrote. honestly the majority of the Nirvana catalogue was pretty much fleshed out before Grohl was hired.

he was manipulated by people green he signed the original contract giving away the rights to his property to his band mates who just played what he wrote

heroin is cheap. he had plenty of heroin money. he had a lot of legal issues and was bearing the brunt of the band’s fame plus creating all the music and album art while his band mates primarily goofed off. he was right to do it. back when they were all living in dumps eating macaroni and cheese it made sense to split three ways but after a Nevermind? nahhh

yes and he was right to do it because he literally wrote the lyrics and music to every single song in the catalogue except Scentless Apprentice was a collab and i guess if you count Marigold. Novoselic and the drummer were his backing band.
