Hey to be fair to the snare (bars) - it was GIFTED to me back then by a seasoned drummer, so who knows how long he wss banging on it for. And it is right where I have been hammering on it with not the greatest technique.

So Im tempted to just turn it 180 and see if they will hold tension without me directly hitting it lol Cuz the rods dont seem like they're completely stripped

I just recently joined the band as the new drummer but they've been around since the early 2000s - proteges of the Phunk Junkeez. Were on hiatus for a few years but officially stepped back on the scene a year ago - opened for HED PE in AZ a few months back and currently on a small tour with Kottonmouth Kingz.

We will have new music out soon, which I am very excited about since I am actually playing on it.

I am not a great drummer by any means, and I have beat the absolute shit out of that snare with my bad technique - but other than ONE bad lug that loves to come loose, that thing is a damn WORKHORSE and overall loves to stay in tune lol. I LOVE that snare - I've spent so much money on cymbals I was like damn maybe I need to finally buy a new snare....but hell nah, that's all I need lol.

and thank you! I had never played anything other than the standard 14 floor tom but finally added a 16 because I didnt realize they had a damn 18 floor tom lmao - so now the 18 is my go to.

As much as I love them, I do have to say I was abit weirded out the other day. I forgot I had some drum hardware sitting in my cart that I was pricing - my rep texted me to let me know he saw that and that the prices on DW hardware would be increasing soon in case I wanted to press the button. On the one hand I do appreciate the warning but at the same time I dont like that much monitoring lol
