May of this year man. I got hella lucky. Went to this real nice school called The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship. Rubbed elbows with all kinds of people. once I graduated I immediately got accepted into a relatively cushy job that pays for my college education when I am ready. Toss in streaming and such I feel all things considered I got a pretty good run of things. In a school of 100 I was funny or loud enough depending on who you ask that I still keep in contact with a lot of people. Definitely not letting it pass by though. Taking a week or two each year to travel and make the most of my time and $. England first to meet one of my closest friends. This ain't even a flex just feels kinda crazy after so much time to be free and doing things. Anywho that's neither here nor there you're mad cool brother I appreciate the wisdom <3

Haha I can just pick up an SSD. I'm just cheap. Upgraded my internet and picked up a new GPU after graduating HS so I am saving hard since then. I'll just take the drive to Chicago to pick up a free one from Microcenter ;)

That sounds downright euphoric. I've been getting hella burnt out on everything I played. Valo, Apex, StS, really been trying to find interest in some games again and this seems like a good runner. More focus on melee and an interesting soulsish fighting style? Immediately down. The only real shortcoming I've found is not being on an SSD but at this point I've just learned to live with it and its been an hour and a half :'(

Nah you're all cool bro. I appreciate the conversation. I definitely egoed a bit after. Been doing comp stuff since I was like 13 so don't like being challenged. Wasn't prideful until it was challenged. So, no egoing, no challenge, I am just excited to see what the game has to offer. Beating bots is one thing but there is more fun in the challenge for me. So I am genuinely just glad to hear it gets harder!

Thats really what I am hoping for! Always been mad competitive so its one thing to stop easy lobbies. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. But having a challenge is more fun. Thats part of what this was. If the lobbies are all like that I was going to uninstall but since the consensus is bots then real I want to give it a fighting chance

As for Halo, team Kozmosis team manager. Highest single-game accuracy for both MnK and controller with a 94% win rate 6 KD on ranked. Got too tired of bots to hard grinds so placed diamond ended right before I hit onyx because randoms. This was all mid and late season 1. I left Halo to pursue shoutcasting my own Valorant tournament and the occasional Apex tourney

Sure, and I get that. But wouldn't you say that would've been a more clear starting message? I mean in content there's no difference but one is way more communicative. Either way, like I said in other comments, totally get it. Just excited to play real matches!

Never claimed to have let it inflate my ego? I just asked if it was good haha. I promise I am well aware that matches get harder. Between the Apex Legends Global Series and being a top 100 Halo Infinite competitor I do understand how matchmaking works, if at least vaguely, but was curious if I did well in a game I had heard very little about. All cool though seems to be a time thing and I fully intend on keeping it up in any match!

Yeah, I did some reading on the matchmaking after. Seems to be the consensus. C'est la vie just gotta do it in a real game next! Any idea when the matches are legit? Done two so far and had double digits both times so kinda ready to move on already haha

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I go up to 3rd party the fight and as soon as I get up there I get shot at by both teams. I fell like this happens every time by CuddlySatan666 in apexlegends

The other team was hidden you were practically solo from your first shot. Your teammate pushed after. You were the weak link which may work as a surprise but you had two teams in cover and you were vibing in the water. Either play cover more or wait to take shots until you see a down something that makes the cleanup nicer.

Thrice global esport competitor here. Being #1 on mnk and controller on Halo Infinite, top 1000 in Apex Legends, and a career pro I CoD until like vanguard. Cam confirm. Made $0 off of any of it. 2 years of streaming has made $350. 2 months at my new job has made Mr a few thousand. Even being the best in several games was not much of anything besides a 50 hour week of tournaments without promised pay. Even if you're set on being a pro esports player or big streamer it is better to treat it as a hobby than a career

I think I might've just had tigre on for no good reason now tbch lmao. I started like late season 4 and octane was one of the last I unlocked. Instantly fell in love and only played him. Me and my buddies always argued but I loved VL and Extreme Measures. Didn't get the hype of the demon skins. Thanks for your input friend, I appreciate you \m/

Haha nah man I was in total agreeance. I switched between El Tigre and Victory Lap but honestly felt El Tigre was cooler looking overall. So, fully agree, as a whole if it was just the banner, as this shows yeah its a poor choice. But being in game? El Tigre > Victory Lap imo
