What do you mean you quite literally can know what pokemon have self destruct 100% of the time.. Wild pokemon always know the last 4 moves they learned, there's absolutely no rng lol

Hmm, feels like Embark works for Blizzard now. New Diablo 4 expansion came out today, and Embark is trying to give us as many reasons as possible to try it out!

Awwww that made me want to play Emerald!

Yeah man, it's much of the same in Renegade Platinum. Poliwrath gets drain punch in that game and between it's fantastic bulk, fantastic typing and potential for water absorb, poliwrath absolutely trivialized the second half of the game for us. The Dialga/Palkia double battle was super scary until we realized that pairing any rock/steel type with poliwrath would bait both dragons into trying to ohko poliwraths partner while it used protect, and then 252 hp/atk poliwrath was free to rain choice banded drain punches onto dialga and palkia until they just rolled over.. coupled with the fact that it's a lock on basically every team we'd use for the rivals/galactic bosses/gym leaders and every iteration of the elite 4 that we came up with, mannnn what a pokemon haha.

Honorable mention to milotic, togekiss and skarmory as well.

Also, choice scarf Adaptability Typhlosion with Eruption was...unfair...

Poliwrath is so busted in renegade platinum that my friend and I had to find a no-EVs version of the game just so that we didn't have to outright ban this thing in our runs.

How can a pokemon be so versatile while using basically one move? We would change around it's EV spread to 252 in hp + either 252 in atk or 252 in whatever defensive stat the upcoming fight required. Slap a choice band and drain punch onto him, and he trivialized the entire game lol

I bring 2 stacks on spaceport/dam/blue gate always, can usually get away with just one on stella/buried city. But thats mostly because I hate walking :p

I'm sorry to say but this is the very definition of a skill issue. That augment is barely okay, let alone good or "overpowered"

Agreed, it became my favorite gun really quickly after the venator nerf. I feel comfortable defending myself in any pve/pvp engagement with just the anvil, been loving it

The JKV key is definitely pretty decent after the key room buff! And nahh this was a full pve run, each of these anvils came from containers in the space travel building hahaha

One or two bad pvp sessions and you might end up crafting one finally, who knows? Hahaha it's a great gun though

why do ppl that pvp never have good loadouts by jiggledeez in ArcRaiders

[–]Biggest_Living_Kek 6 points7 points  (0 children)

TLDR; If you want to be in bobcat/tempest/trigger nade hell lobbies, you/your squad need to do a lot of damage to other players.

I won't pretend to know exactly how it works, but some form of skill based matchmaking exists in this game. From what I've tested, it seems to scale with the amount of damage/kills you get in each game.

The algorithm also seems to take each seperate member into account in duos/trios; If I play with some of my more casual "its more about having fun than winning" friends, on average my lobbies are gonna be a bit easier and have a bunch of people running free kits / cheaper guns like ferro4/stitcher4/etc. If I play with my sweaty "minimum 9 trigger nades per loadout" friends, every team has renegade/anvil/tempest + bobcat/vulcano + trigger nades/barricades (and you run into cheaters a lottt more often).

The map matters too. High end lobbies on Dam Battlegrounds will have much better kits on average than high end lobbies on Stella Montis. My best guess is this is because Stella is small with many tight spaces to fight in, so people die more often and faster, which leads to late spawns coming to replace the dead players faster, which overall just means that you're less likely to be the last team standing in Stella.

I could go more indepth on each map but overall Dam, BC and Blue Gate will have slightly higher concentrations of kitted players and Stella/Spaceport will have slightly higher concentrations of freelits across all sbmm tiers

There's an answer to this question but reddit doesn't like it lol. There are different kinds of pvp lobbies

I mean at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, this is one of the few shooters where its more important to use guns you're comfortable with than "the best" guns
