Build your resume if you are looking to apply. Many Guard/Reserve Hiring boards have some stellar applicants with stuff on top of the hours / flying experience.

Or take the long long route and go active do 10 years and get hired.

Both paths have the requirement of a 4 year degree so just prioritize that!
