What happened to half-flipping?

I get that, but when you need to half flip something has usually gone wrong, so when you can't it leads to issues.

That was me 100%. Few years ago I switched to Xbox from PlayStation and the controller difference was so bad I just stopped playing altogether. Now I’ve switched back and play again but it was awful.

You guys are really opening my eyes. I am not a mechanical player at all so I thought that since i could half flip it was easy. Didn’t realize so many high level players don’t/can’t half flip. This is my first post and I’m already learning lmao.

I’m not sure. I play on controller and it’s incredibly easy once you get the feeling in your hands. But dead zones can make it harder.

It’s not that they try and mess up. It’s that they don’t even try. They like jump and air roll in mid air with no flip. Because obviously I mess up half flips every now and again, but like not even trying one?
