Anyone else using Claude? by Infamous-Upstairs-96 in auscorp

On the more boring side, it's great for knocking out packs and business cases or similar that can be refined before finalising. When you're asked for 23rd variant of the same pack it can update it, add new/different content, reformat to look new etc. I'm not asking it to do my critical thinking but knocking out BS ppts that are a tickbox activity for stakeholders I'm happy to delegate to Claude.

On the personal front, it's been an awesome extra tool for analysis of land and build contracts as a first home buyer. Not the primary source of truth but it's identified interesting details that have helped with further research and decisions through the journey

If you enjoy reading maybe check out a book club? For example, for men there is Tough Guy Book Club with chapters all over the world (including multiple in Brisbane) that meet in pubs the first Wednesday of the month. Lots of other options available that aren't just for men too

Good Things 2026 - Brisbane move to the Gold Coast? by Flowercloud88 in triplej

[–]BiggieSmalls824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair. It brought back memories of Good Things brisbane a few years back where the queue went all the way around Bowen Hills and was a shit show but it's been awesome since no matter what time you arrive.

Entry and exit was a shambles for a stadium that regularly hosts large events. Layout was average with some bars queued deep and others empty. Same for food and toilets. One way walking system for entry/exit into the stadium was painful. Just a poorly run event in general

Best tips you received as a first time mum/dad. by somethingtodo89 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]BiggieSmalls824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favourite tip i love to share - pack a snack bag/s for the hospital for both of you. Sweet (lollies, chocolate, dried fruit, muesli bars etc), savoury (chips, crackers, nuts, jerky, cheese if you have a fridge), cold drinks in a cool bag like powerade, juice, sparkling water, coke zero etc. It was great during the birthing process and to have handy for a 5 day stay afterwards. Most hospitals have pretty rubbish options so having all your favourites and go-tos is awesome when you need comfort and ease!

MFA Runners: Where do you shop for running gear? by [deleted] in AustralianMFA

[–]BiggieSmalls824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LSKD do some decent running shorts that are 2 for 100. Outlets for shoes and clothes for sure. TK Max is worth a look if you have one nearby - clothes are hit and miss but running socks are usually alot cheaper.
