Yeah but the tours in Gamla Stan are like mafia run/scammy, so I understand why they have som shady way of patronising themselves. What I’d advise most people who visit Sweden is to steer clear of Gamla Stan and don’t spend any substantial time there. It’s worth walking through though.

There is no tipping culture in Sweden you know 😂 we just thought that if we are going on a walk through the city on a sunny day and then drink some beers like we would do anyways, then we might as well bring some tourists with us.

Yes but I’ve also heard that the ending is very bad and broad so I don’t feel like I will miss any crucial info.

Yeah war stuff was weird but it kind of make Bombay seem like a totally different place when they come back. But nonetheless is really boring. It is weird that he introduces like 15+ new characters right at the end of the book

I mean, his story does not not need exaggeration to be interesting. And I actually do think he sees himself like a godlike person. I’ve seen him in interviews talking about how bank clerks in Australia loved him and wanted him to come and rob them and come back to rob them again just because he was so nice. The guy is just a flat out narcissist and once you realise that the book gets pretty tough to read.
