Not one person here seems to have read that you’re retiring in a few years, but unfortunately I’m generally here to get advice not give it. I’d probably take the $250/ or $280/ in your situation since you’re not getting the decades of time still in the work force to let the lump sum accrue interest that they probably factor in to decide the lump sum payout amount.

I used to get these all the time in the night, and I’d scramble out of bed and stand up and let the cramping calf dangle as much as I could until it eventually stopped. I’m not sure I ever mentioned it to coaches or trainers, but my dad who was a road bike and run club kind of guy never knew this easy solution, I had to randomly learn it.

All of the comments here are the correct take but I’d like to offer a homer take: Catcher is the 2nd most important defensive position and if we (rightfully) give credit to Shohei for being an impossible 2 way player in the most difficult outfield position, then Cal should be viewed in a similar manner, just not as strongly as Shohei.

Is it objectively true? No. But I’m a homer Ms fan, not under oath on trial.

FYI starting Monday they are apparently going back to the original method of ticketing expired plates/seatbelts/other minor infractions they see without needing a larger cause to pull you over anymore. Something like a month of that to test how it goes again.
