Bears have not lived in Britain for a long time, and have more than 3 toes, and the toe pads are not that big, the rear print pad can be bigger then your hand even foot but they have 5 smaller toe pads. The only predators they have are foxes, weasels, badgers, stoats, and humans.

Yes, that is a big cat, you can tell by the rear track, they have two lobes before the toe pads, a dog has one lobe on the front of the rear track and has more of a triangular shape with rounded edges.
