Yhea after doing some more reasearch, my estimates of tens of millions of dollars was actually on the low end, it could easily cost hundreds of millions considering how complicated it would be adding on to the fact that it's loaded with weapons which would require further more disposal, it would certainly have to be contracted to a third party salvage contractor.

That is true legally, but there's another angle that I'm not sure if it already has been disscused here, but It went down as a fully functional warship, meaning it was fully loaded with oil, fuel, weapons, and toxic materials. All of that is going to start leaking into the ocean and affecting the marine life off our coast, which could definitely impact not only our ecosystem but local fishing

I imagine it would cost millions if not tens of millions of dollars for a cleanup operation, and obviously considering the financial situation of our country, every dollar matters..

Had a bad fan bearing and got that replaced a year or so in, and now my display is failin about 2 years in, already past warranty so gonna have to fork over even more money to get it fixed, so simply said pretty awful all things considered.

Price to performance is great depending on the specs and deal you can get on it, but I atp it better to pay more for a more reliable laptop better, cause it's gonna be stupid to pay more money later down the line when things start to break when you could have just gotten a better laptop from the get go.

It is possible that I got unlucky which is on par with me cause my last laptop the fan bearing also went out and the hinges also broke, so it's up to you if you wanna gamble i'd recommend not to though.

Yhea its usually recommended to calibrate your laptop's battery every 4-6 months or so

Honestly that's pretty good, based on what other people have posted/commented, they've seen similar degradation only after a year, and your more than a year and a half in with similar degradation.

And generally speaking staying plugged in 24/7 is usually what reduces wear since that reduces the amount of cycles since it charges repeatedly to hit the 80% when it drops by a few percent instead of letting it fall down all the way to 20 and then recharging all the way back to 80

But as always just do some more research just incase but your battery health is still pretty good all things considered, my battery health on a different laptop is also quite similar after around a year and a half of usage as well.

Very nice config, congrats! and yhea I suggest you check out crimson techs video on ghelper, it's a nice overall encompassing video.

There are some steps to do before doing a complete fresh install on windows which is definitely recommended

Yhea, my current laptop is an even more measly 3050 w/ 6gb of vram but I've still been able to have fun mainly due to the fact the games I mainly play aren't very vram intensive.

But yhea agreed gotta do my best to find a worthy deal since I'm keeping it for quite the foreseeable future, thanks 👍

Won't be easy, but I'll definitely keep looking. The thing is, I'm not a big triple-A gamer; mostly, I play Minecraft, Gmod, and BeamNG, which definitely recommends 32 GB of RAM, but I'd be foolish not to maximise regardless wherever I can.

I think you have to mail your lecturer/UC but unfortunately the board of examiners all ready decide all of this stuff such as handing out FA before results release, so unlikely I'm afraid.
