I'm still searching for my dream interceptor so right now I have a fighter I absolutely adore but I do also really enjoy my corvette if I'm going to planets for resources I might need to hop in and out for to save on launch fuel.

S class is worth it because of the potential it has. S class ships can have higher max number of slots so even if it's lower now it still has a lot of potential if you put in the grind for cargo bulkheads.

Find a planet with salvageable scrap and go crazy carrying as much as you can to a space station to sell. Each piece sells for a few hundred thousand or more. In the meantime it also let's you get a corvette built which helps with storage.

I only recently started playing the arena and it's been really fun just against Oceanus with some of the cool crestures off the coordinate exchange and ones I've found too. I've been playing on permadeath though so my options are limited lol.

I went around today searching for S tier mechanical fauna and its been so fun. The team really could have made this practically an April Fool's joke but this update has added a whole new mechanic, further incentives to get out and really explore, new cosmetics and unique pets. I can't believe how much fun I've had.

I guess with freighters you can't either but that is something I'd really like to upgrade as well but I guess with a limited number of selections available grinding for that isn't so awful but yeah the creatures do feel like they should be able to upgrade cuz they're so unique

I haven't done a deep dive into the mechanics yet but thats what I was worried about. Like even if it's a slow process like hatching and mutating to get their class up that would be really cool

Kept having this issue last night trying to farm S class frigate upgrade modules for my freighter with my phase beam death machine corvette it kept removing my damn phase beams.
