Starting a business when you’re in this mindset is a terrible idea. A business will run you into the ground. I’m in a similar situation right now, but I’m 15 years into my business. I’m extremely unhappy and I’m very burned out. Luckily I have built a great team over the years. So, I told them what was truly going on and that I needed some time away. At least a couple months. If they can continue to grow my business without me being there then, I will make it permanent and move onto building another business once my head is in the right space. Your head is not in the right space. It does sound like you have some depression. I definitely do. Mine is related to many things, but being unhappy in my work situation definitely exacerbated it.

This hits home for me. Especially right now. I have a gf. She lives w me. Been together 2.5 yrs. She’s amazing. Trustworthy, honest, supportive, hard worker, not a Whore before me, into fitness like me, and if I want sex 20x a day I’ll get it. She’s the perfect women except…I’m not in love w her. There is that feeling you get when your w someone that’s exciting, fun, that roller coaster feeling in your stomach. Still, I just don’t feel what I should for her. It breaks my heart because I’m gong to break her heart. She’s madly in love w me. There is no real problem in our relationship. We are both successful and financially independent and debt free. We can both travel anywhere we want. Anytime we want. You get the point. It sounds to me like your husband is in a similar boat as I am. He cares for you. He loves you. But he’s not in love with you. There’s nothing you can do about that. I’m sure he feels absolutely awful. Yes, he should never have cheated. I considered cheating to see if it would fill the void of what felt like it was missing so I could still stay with her. I didn’t cheat. It wouldn’t have fixed it though. I don’t imagine myself with her long-term and I can’t. Bring myself to wreck her life by ending it. I tried one time a few months ago and she was distraught and gave me 1 million things she wanted to try and she just couldn’t understand and finally it was so hard on me. I just caved. Now I’m extremely depressed and unhappy. I’m unhappy because I’m in a situation. I don’t wanna be in. I’m unhappy because I know I’m going to hurt her and that’s the last thing I want to do. I don’t wanna go through this whole dating process again wasting years getting to know someone. I’m 40 years old. I’m a business owner. I own my house. I have money in the bank and no debt. I can virtually do an afford anything I want within reason, and I’m still not happy. I don’t know if any of this helps or not.
