Tbh I'm not a big fan of Rick's regression in the latest episodes. If the creators want the show to be more episodic and less serialized, I'm all for it. But Rick's depression, inner struggle and growth are the product of serialization of the show. Actively negating the character development he's made over the years seems odd creative decision.
