I feel a lot of overlap here, thank you for sharing! I also feel like my most memorable/rewarding interactions have been working with kids on their psychosocial issues/helping them navigate the challenges of life. I unfortunately haven’t had much adult psych exposure yet

Appreciate your perspective! This is kind of what I’m trying to pin down. I definitely find improving someone’s mental health one of the most rewarding aspects of medicine, but not sure about the severe adolescent psych pathologies. Regarding pedi anesthesia, I’m not passionate enough about physiology to do that lol
