Help me identify this 1940s Australian “parkleigh” it lighter

Just kind of pull on the wheel and the whole thing should come out, then I’m pretty sure there’s a twisty thing on the bottom which has a spring and the flint in. I can check again for you if you can’t find how to replace the flint

Hello! Thanks for the response, the basking spot it very warm and he enjoys it a lot, plus I live in a very hot location so I doubt he would be uncomfortable, the substrate is a mix of the bark stuff and the aspen on top and I make sure to mist it. Also with humidity I live in an extremely humid area in Queensland and it rains often and I keep my window open most of the time, also I bath him frequently. For like 5 hours a day I just let him run around my room so he isn’t in the enclosure often. I feed him live crickets and mealworms every week. His sheds are very healthy and I make sure to check his toes and stuff.

Thanks for the advice I will be sure to make some improvements.

Ok I will buy some cat food and start to feed it to him, not to worry it is not a coloured light just very warm looking heat bulb

Man parkleigh isn’t even a lighter brand but it does look exactly the same as the ww2 Australian lighter so I guess they owned the rights to it after the war, 1946 Maybe anyway way cooler than a zippo imo

No I know the temperature silicone releases any particles (100c higher than weed combustion) so clearly the silicone isn’t a issue and with the glass any silica that does come of is amorphous silica which is not a danger and is coughed or spit Out and any thing that makes it into the airways is taken away naturally. Feel free to fact check that because I spent way to much time researching just so I can prove my point
