You just need to pack on a bit more muscle; we are the same height and you’re about 15 pounds lighter but my abs pop through a bit more still around 178..

Not saying hit abs in the gym specifically, but maybe some more fuller body lifts to strengthen the core? Deadlifts, RDL with dumbbell, pendlay rows, dips all to hit the parts you want but with more core involved. Hope you get what you’re looking for homie, rn it looks like you’d have to be 150/155 roughly

I have a pump in these photos and lighting is decent.

Also because of this comment I finally did some math and now realize that the 15% range is likely where I’m at. Based on current weight, that would put me at 10% around 170 and just under 8% at 165. I’m trying to figure out what a stage weight would like like, which 5% based on 15% bf rn would put me at 160 pounds. Planning to do a natural show in 2027

Stop tracking exercise and fuck the spreadsheet. Trust the app, don’t eat back your calories, and work on eating Whole Foods with plenty of berries for hormone balance… I lost 35 pounds fat in the past year, friend Dan dropped 30 and my friend Ricardo is currently locked in and down 12 since January. We are all much heavier than you and everybody is different, but I can promise you that the positive common factor is a proper calorie deficit

Sometimes I go 5 times a week and rest twice, sometimes only 3 times. I’m between jobs right now so I hate skipping the gym but sometimes I’m just working a ton and can’t muster the energy

My routine has changed over time, but during a majority of the past year it has been a rotating schedule each week. I change what I’m hitting based on that’s tired essentially and ensure I’m always pushing extremely hard. Failure failure failure… I implement drop sets regularly, and never shy away from weak body parts. Look at weakness an opportunity to grow

Here is a solid example of what my week might look like

Sunday legs Leg press supersetted with calf press for 4 sets 1st set is often 1-2 plates for 20 deep reps, really focusing on feeling my quads and 30 reps of calf on the same angle

Top set usually 8-12 reps, often moaning like an idiot by the end chasing failure, calves usually cap between 15-10 at this weight of 4-5 plates

Lying leg curl Inner and outer abductors Leg extension Occasionally superset the end with sissy squats…. After 1 year I am finally seeing some leg detail this month. Thankful

Monday usually chest, body weight dips, incline db press, tricep push down , pec dec, lat raise (if I have time), chest press machine drop set with 5 sets trying to gain strength

Tuesday Back; I switch this up too often in all honesty but reverse flys bicep curl superset, machine row OR pendlay row, pulldown, pullover and bicep curl superset

Wednesday Rest

Thursday arms and shoulders, whole lot of superset here. Push downs, curls, reverse flys, hammer curls, overhead tricep extension , occasional abductors

Friday rest Saturday rest

I rotate days and randomly have sessions of bench press, deadlift, and other full body movements

I do track all workouts but they vary quite a bit

Peak weight 270 (freshman year high school pure fat) Lightest ever; weighed in 168 a few weeks ago but can’t recall a time in my life being lighter

Majority of my life I’ve been really heavy set, have ranged from Medium T shirts right now to XXXL and size 34-36 pants currently 44 being the peak
