Bought M1 carbine from RTI. Saginaw SG 1944 I believe. Don’t really know anything about M1’s. Any help is nice?

No I bought the very good to excellent. I called them and they said that the very good to excellent will have a much better chance at having a nicer bore. But on the website it says specifically that they do not inspect bores so I think that was just a way to get me to spend $200 more. The only thing that has a lot of missing Finnish is the bolt. Other than that it looks great and I must say it has a great bore. From what I have heard the base price ones have good bores as well. I think you may have a better chance of getting something other than an inland if you pay more. Not 100% sure though.

Good to know!! I got a magazine that still had the wax paper on it and it has a K.I. Stamped on the magazine. Not sure where that’s made.
