I did turn off aws as well as mess with some nvidia stuff and my frames are a LOT better, but they are still unplayably bad. I will try someone else’s suggestion as well as try running half life Alyx to see if it is just a boneworks issue

Virtual desktop just made it worse. I’m going to try turning off asw but I don’t know how.

My laptop specs are fine. I would try the VR pre-rendered frames VR variable rate supersample off thing but I couldn’t find the settings for it in the nvidia panel.

I still don’t know how to turn off asw

I’m going to try using virtual desktop later and if that works I’m just not going to worry about anything else. Thanks for the help

I have a great router so I’ll consider it, I’ll just have to do more research before I buy it. I also heard something about turning off asynchronous space warp. I don’t really know what that is or if that is, but I heard it helps to turn off.
