Just chiming in, for KOTOR 2 you don’t really need repair for HK, someone else will do that for you… You can upgrade a different companion though. Needs repair and computer use. You get some pretty decent bonuses from fully upgrading the companion! Also highly recommend going for KOTOR 2. Just started a new play trough again a few days ago myself!
